Hello and Welcome!

Located in the Gehl-Mulva Science Center, the Developmental Decision-Making  Lab is an undergraduate research team led by Dr. Raquel Lopez. Students in Dr. Lopez’ lab can expect training in IRB research protocols, neurophysiological data collection, and post-collection data analysis. The pathways of graduates from the DDM lab are as unique as the researchers with some paths leading into masters and doctoral graduate programs, and others leading to positions in research labs or industry.

Currently, the DDM lab is conducting an online exploratory study examining the relationship between COVID-19, current dating choices and exposure to early adversity, as well as relevant sociocultural variables like religious upbringing, and self-esteem. Student researchers work in teams and choose a question to answer based on the available questionnaires and data.

Interested in learning more? Please take a look around the DDM lab website, and see the contact page for information about how to get involved.
